Reality of Aid Network Asia Pacific, in coordination with United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is pleased to announce the dates for the Eastern Europe and Central Asia CSO Workshop and Multi-stakeholder Consultation on Aid and Development Effectiveness, to be held 19-20 October 2011 in Istanbul, Turkey.
The focus of the activity is to raise the general awareness of CSOs in Central Asia with regards to the current discourse and policy environment of aid and development effectiveness. This includes creating a space for varied CSO dialogues and reflections on effective approaches and at the same time be able to give the opportunity for the sharing of experiences on better and more efficient ways of sustaining these processes.
As a multi-stakeholder, this activity also aims to gather together CSOs, donors, parliaments and government representatives and raise the level of dialogue between them in relation to aid in the region in preparation for Busan HLF4.
