Beirut – The Arab NGO Network for Development (ANND) in partnership with the Reality of Aid Country Outreach Program organized a two-day event on “Aid Effectiveness Workshop and Multistakeholder Consultation” on June 21-22. Attended by close to 50 participants, the event served as a venue for representatives from CSOs, government and development partners to engage in lively discussions on aid and development effectiveness in Lebanon, the CSO Key Asks, the role of the private sector in development, as well as humanitarian crises in the country. The workshop ended with an outcome document centering on recommendations on development policies, cooperation between civil society and the private and public sectors, and humanitarian crises and conflict. The final recommendations will be made available soon.
